Terms and Conditions for using Door-2-Door Transport
Please read the following Terms and Conditions for using Door-2-Door Transport. As a member of the Door-2-Door Transport scheme, you must abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you are not able to accept these Terms and Conditions, you must notify the Department for Regional Development immediately, by telephoning (028) 9054 0609 or e-mailing door2door@drdni.gov.uk.
General Conditions
- Your Membership SmartCard is issued for the purpose of proving your eligibility to use Door-2-Door Transport. The SmartCard must be presented on every journey.
- The Membership SmartCard remains the property of the Department for Regional Developmentand may be withdrawn at any time.
- The use of Door-2-Door Transport is subject to the full Conditions of Carriage by the operator of the service. These will be sent to you separately, by the operator.
- Fraudulent use of the Membership SmartCard may result in prosecution and you may have to pay the costs incurred through such use.
- You must notify the Department of any change in your contact and address details which you provided upon application for membership, or if there is a change in your circumstances which would affect your eligibility to use Door-2-Door Transport.
- The wearing of seatbelts will be mandatory for all passengers. You may, however, be exempted from wearing a seatbelt on production of a medical certificate, stating the reason(s) why you cannot do so. A copy of this certificate must be enclosed when applying for membership.
- If you lose your card or if it is stolen, you must inform the Department immediately by telephoning (028) 9054 0609.
- The Department may amend the level and times of service provision. You will be given advance notice of any such amendments.
